Welcome. Embrace your Hero’s Journey.

Meeting Monthly, October 2019 - November 2020

July 20, August 3, September 7, October 5

It is time. We have awakened to the knowingness that we are interconnected. We soften and expand the tribal walls of our hearts to merge into the wonder and unity of Creation. Only then we can share our experiences, honoring while dismantling our stories which are the compasses that support our individual journey through the self to the Self.
— Lily Kessler, Founder, Lead Trainer

Our dedicated, master teachers are highly experienced, lovingly supportive, eclectic, and influenced by a wide breadth of lineages. We aim to give you the best of the best, making this introspective training relevant for all people across all styles of yoga, deepening your purpose as a teacher, yogi, and leader.

Don’t ask for things and expect them to be delivered. Ask for them only to recognize what you’re interested in creating now, and accept that it is already inside of you and bring it out.
— Dr. Sue Morter

Our curriculum is registered through Yoga Alliance, exceeding their standards, providing you with a brilliantly holistic, comprehensive, and introspective training.

Welcome. Our homegrown, advanced studies program is for the 200-hour yoga teacher graduate who is seeking a greater depth in her or his life experience, translated through the art of living and teaching yoga.

We dive beyond asana to explore the subtle yet fully-encompassing energetic dimensions of Self, Source, and Reality.

This 15 month program - totaling 270 hours - embodies the introspective arts of energy alignment with physical and subtle yogic practices designed to broaden understanding of the vastness of this ever-expanding Tradition.

We meet monthly for one immersion weekend.

300-hour = 500 RYT / Yin Yoga / Yoga Nidra / Reiki Master

We are interested in the modern application of ancient teachings and how we, as both teachers and responsible human beings, can join our understanding of the history of yoga with its current evolution in the West.

This program encourages you to expand your inner and outer realms. Students receive an in-depth study of asana, anatomy and biomechanics, verbal articulation skills, meaningful assists, intentional sequencing, advanced pranayama, sacred texts, Ayurvedic practices, Reiki, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation, and more. Graduates will embody a stronger personal practice, having gained techniques for sharing these teachings within their own communities on and off the yoga mat.

You must have devotion to be courageously vulnerable while examining your life and your thinking. This awareness supports you living authentically in harmony with the voice of your Heart. This is how you serve the world.
— Lily Kessler

Frequently Asked Questions

What distinguishes Blooming Life’s 300-Hour Yoga Training?
Blooming Life School’s curriculum is homegrown and provides a well-rounded training in advanced philosophy, asana, Ayurveda, pranayama, meditation, and more. Importantly, you receive four certifications upon completion: 300-hour = 500 RYT / Yin Yoga / Yoga Nidra / Reiki Master

Teachers are in continual, advanced trainings and only then are they qualified to teach their personal experiences and passions within subject areas. The school works in tandem with the best of the best in both our 200 and 300 hour programs. Like-minded peers and teachers cultivate a culture of powerful supportive vulnerability, embodying the willingness to do deep inner and outer work which takes times and dedication.

Is the 300-hour training appropriate for my skill level?
Though all of our modules and programs are highly comprehensive and require dedication, we are renowned for our welcoming and supportive accessibility to all people. In our schools we support yoga trainees from 13-78 years in age (literally) with all ability levels. Come as you are to this program.

I am a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. What are the benefits of a 300-hour program?
A 300-hour program is an opportunity to enhance your personal practice and teaching skills. Upon graduation you will be considered a 500 Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. The world needs compassionate, self-aware people, and as yoga grows rapidly more quality teachers are needed to retain the integrity of the Tradition. Programs such as this provide opportunities for all bodies, backgrounds, and interests.

I have completed Yin Yoga training. Can I still join the program?
This is an opportunity for you to revisit previously learned information from a different lens. Hours gained outside of our program can not be applied toward your 300-Hour Yoga Alliance Certification.

What specific skills will I develop in each module?
Each module brings an advanced skill set into focus. Teachers are supported in creating curriculum to reach every learning style, honoring diverse students, communities, and settings.

How is the training structured?
Blooming Life’s 300-hour training consists of 15 modules, which take place every four weeks. Modules typically are Fridays 5-9, Saturdays 11:30-7:30pm, and Sundays 9-3pm, with exception of Master Reiki Training and Yoga Nidra.

What are the criteria for certification?
Certification is based upon meeting requisites for attendance, class participation, and practicums. This is a cohort approach where we begin and end the program together. 100% of modules must be attended. If you miss a module you will have to wait a full year until the offering occurs again. We ask you provide us a copy of your 200-hour certificate or other evidence. If you don’t wish to have a 300-hour certification, you are still welcome to join the Journey without gaining a Yoga Alliance Certificate.

Are there practicums?
You will complete and attend two practicums, one being a 75-minute Yin Yoga class and a two-hour workshop based on inspirations from your program. All practicums will be donation-based, supporting one of our sanctuaries, and will take place at Blooming Life Yoga Studio.

Are there prerequisites, homework, and/or required reading for each module?
Some modules may include homework and reading assignments.

Yulia’s mission is to help you realize that your worth and value are not a result of your skills, achievements, and successes as self-worth is your birthright! Meditation has been an effective tool to help her stay centered, grateful, and joyful, and to view the tough times with a more detached, observational understanding. She is much more in tune with her purpose. Kara has more energy, her memory has improved, and she even have a greater ability to overcome illnesses faster. Audrey McCann, E-RYT 200, RYT 500. A master gardener, Thai Yoga Massage practitioner, essential oil and crystal enthusiast, 20-year practitioner and 10 year teacher. Audrey believes everyone comes to yoga seeking a change in their lives; deeper authenticity in body, mind, and Spirit/Soul. “Asana is the gateway for change and healing. To use a garden as an analogy, we stopped tending to the garden and it was no longer fruitful. By making our way to the mat and using what nature provides us (healing plants for nutrition and oils and crystals) we can tend to the garden. Then we become the Change we seek.”
